Waste nothing.

Our market bags and totes use *100% reclaimed fabrics* from sources like drapers, upholsterers and interior designers. Textiles from sample books are reclaimed so nothing goes to waste — cardboard book covers, paper labels, metal staples, and other elements are either saved for use in other projects or properly recycled. Off cuts of fabric too small to reuse are saved to provide bulk for cushions and stuffing for custom-made pet beds.

We began in 2020 as an experiment to create market products from donated textiles and fabrics.

Today, we are a burgeoning social enterprise offering a Second Start not only for these glorious fabrics, but for our makers who hail from around the world and apply their expert sewing skills to earn a fair wage at home to support their families.

In less than a year, we have rescued tens of thousands of dollars worth of designer fabrics and diverted hundreds of pounds of fabric, paper, and metal away from the landfill.

Typically, the only resource we buy new is the thread!
